All our staff are experienced in coping with severe challenging behaviour and receive training on a regular basis.  Staff are vetted for references and undertake a Criminal Records Bureau enhanced disclosure. 

The total number of staff we have is 32 approximately.

Staff Qualifications;

6x Staff have NVQ Level 2, 3x Staff have NVQ Level 3, 2x Staff on NVQ4 and 4xStaff on Registered Managers Award (RMA).

All our staffs receive induction training linked to the skills for Care Induction standard and mandatory courses which covers:

1. Service Users’ equality, rights and Diversity.
2. Effective communication
3. Health & Safety
4. Manual handling
5. Basic Food Hygiene
6. Fire
7. First Aid
8. Medication
9. Protection of Vulnerable Adult. (POVA).
10. Risk Assessment.
11. Managing Aggression.

Managers are in place to supervise staff on a monthly basis.

Our staff works from 8.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. Monday to Friday. Weekends can also be arranged whenever our services are needed.

Provision for one to one support for clients with Learning Disabilities who have Autism and Severe Challenging Behaviour, some of which may be self-injurious, with a degree of Mental Health problems

Outside hours supportive advice for clients and their carers.

Provision for week or weekend breaks at holiday resorts both home and abroad.
